Hi all! Today I’m going to be doing another really fun book tag, which I found over at The Sassy Book Geek. Happy Holidays!
“You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch”: Name a villainous character you couldn’t help but love.
Definitely also Bellatrix Lestrange because she’s such a cool character (and also I’m a huge fan of Helena Bonham Carter).
“All I Want for Christmas is You”: Which book do you most hope to see under your Christmas tree?
“Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”: Name a character that overcomes major obstacles and learns to believe in themselves.
Probably Simon from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.
“Santa Claus is Coming to Town”: a) Which character do you think would be on the top of the naughty list? b) Which character do you think would be at the top of the nice list?
b) Wylan Van Eck – no doubt about that
“Frosty the Snowman”: Which book just melts your heart?
- Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
- Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda / Leah on the Offbeat
- The Selection
- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
- Isla and the Happily Ever After
I had a problem narrowing that down.
“Feliz Navidad”: Choose a book that takes place in a country other than your own.
The Joy Luck Club is probably one of my favourite books ever (most of the memories take place in China). I have to include Harry Potter as well because The Chamber of Secrets was the first book that got me into reading.
“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Which holiday themed book do you use to spread the Christmas joy?
I think the only holiday themed book I read was Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares? That was pretty good. I watched the TV series the other day and that was cool too…book was definitely better though.
“Sleigh Ride”: Which fictional character would you choose to spend the holidays with (doesn’t have to be a love interest!)
Probably Blue Sargent and all the boys: Adam, Ronan, Gansey, and Noah too. Also this group from Harry Potter: Fred, George, Draco, Harry, Blaize, Hermione, Ron, Neville, Luna, Seamus, Sirius, Remus, Dobby, CEDRIC, and yea whoever else haha.
“Baby it’s Cold Outside”: Which book that you didn’t like would you sacrifice to a fire to warm yourself up in the cold?
Snow Like Ashes…let’s turn this book to ashes.
“Do You Hear What I Hear”: Which book do you think everyone should read?
I’ve Been Meaning to Tell You: A Letter to My Daughter, by David Chariandy. Such an important read.
